Founded in 1976 in the chemical industrial park of Xinyi Economic Development Zone, Jiangsu, Jiangsu Lanfeng Biochemical Co., Ltd. (Lanfeng) is one of China's largest phosgene (COCl₂)-based pesticide manufacturers, producing four major product series: insecticides, fungicides, herbicides and fine chemical intermediates.
The company was incorporated through an overall restructuring in September 2007. Its registered capital currently stands at RMB 375,280,278, covers over 1,000 mu of land, and employs more than 900 staff. On December 3, 2010, the company was successfully listed on the SME Board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange under the stock name "Lanfeng Biochemistry" with stock code 002513.
Upholding the corporate mission of "Innovative agrochemical technology, serving a green industry," the company has passed certification for four management systems — quality, environment, occupational health & safety, and energy — and organizes production strictly in accordance with its integrated management system standards.

In October 2023, the company introduced Xuhe New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., ushering its development into a new phase of diversification. Founded in July 2022 in the Zhongxin Suchu High-Tech Industrial Development Zone in Chuzhou, Anhui Province, Xuhe New Energy specializes in the R&D, manufacturing, sales and service of ultra-high-efficiency N-type crystalline silicon photovoltaic products. Its Phase I project covers 256 mu and now possesses 5GW of high-efficiency N-type cell and module production capacity.
