Product Performance

This product consists of hexazinone and diuron. Hexazinone primarily inhibits photosynthesis in plants, causing metabolic disruption and eventual death. Hexazinone can be absorbed by both plant roots and foliage, and is mainly transported through the xylem. Once entering the soil, it can be degraded by soil microorganisms. Diuron can be absorbed by plant roots and leaves, with root absorption being the predominant route. After absorption by weed roots, the herbicide is translocated to aboveground leaves and spreads outward along the leaf veins. It inhibits the Hill reaction in photosynthesis, and light is required for the herbicide to kill plants. Affected weeds begin to show chlorosis from leaf tips and margins, eventually leading to complete leaf wilting, rendering them unable to produce nutrients and causing death by starvation. It effectively controls annual weeds in sugarcane fields.

Usage Range & Method

Technical Requirements

1. This product is used for controlling annual weeds in sugarcane fields. The optimal application timing is at the 4–6 leaf stage of sugarcane (3–5 leaf stage of weeds). The application method is directed foliar spraying onto the weed foliage. 2. Ensure uniform application during spraying, covering all weed foliage, while avoiding spray contact with the stems and leaves of sugarcane.
