Visit Lanfeng to Inspect and Guide Work
On the morning of March 14, 2025, Li Jian, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Jiangsu Province Monitored Chemicals Work Promotion Association, visited Lanfeng to inspect and guide its work. The inspection was accompanied by leaders of the Xuzhou Economy and Information Technology Commission, Fan Xin, Deputy Director of the Xinyi Economic Development Bureau, and Guo Ya, Director of the Xinyi Economic Development Zone Park Administration Office, among others.
During the discussion, the delegation first heard a work report from Li Shaohua, Vice Chairman of Lanfeng Co., Ltd. and Executive Director of Lanfeng Limited Company. In the report, Mr. Li stated that the company is actively planning to invest in and construct a 10,000-tonne/year phosgene and phosgene-derivative product technical renovation project, and is currently awaiting the revised approval by the provincial Department of Ecology and Environment of the regional environmental impact assessment report for the Xinyi Economic Development Zone.
Guo Ya, Director of the Xinyi Economic Development Zone Park Administration Office, added that, with the care and support of Xinyi municipal leaders, the work is proceeding as planned.
After hearing the reports, Li Jian pointed out that Lanfeng Limited Company should earnestly complete all the preliminary preparations for the 10,000-tonne/year phosgene and phosgene-derivative product technical renovation project and strive to start construction as soon as possible. He also expressed the hope that Lanfeng Limited Company would soon emerge from its difficulties and regain its former glory.
