To further promote the study and publicity of the Civil Code and effectively raise the public's awareness of the rule of law, on May 19, 2026, the 6th "Civil Code Publicity Month" of Xinyi City and the grand final of the Civil Code Knowledge Contest, jointly organized by the Publicity Department of the Xinyi Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Office for Governing the City by Law, the Municipal Justice Bureau and the Municipal Converged Media Center, came to a successful conclusion. The team of Jiangsu Lanfeng Bio-Chemical Co., Ltd., drawing on its solid reserve of legal knowledge and composed on-stage performance, won the third prize in the contest. To commend their outstanding performance, the company distributed rice, oil, milk and other supplies to the award-winning employees, encouraging all employees to learn and apply the law and strive to excel.
Themed "A Better Life, Accompanied by the Civil Code", the contest brought together eight participating teams from towns (sub-districts) across the city, government departments, enterprises and 'law-aware citizens' competing on the same stage. The contest featured multiple rounds including compulsory-answer questions, quick-response questions and risk questions, covering provisions of the Civil Code closely related to production, daily life and business operations — such as property rights, contracts, personality rights and tort liability — combining knowledge, pertinence and practical relevance.
During preparation, the Lanfeng contestants took the initiative to use their spare time to delve into the provisions of the Civil Code, studying legal knowledge against the practical scenarios of business production and operation, labor and employment, and work safety, so as to gain a thorough understanding and apply what they learned. At the final, the contestants were full of energy and quick in response, answering every type of question with composure. Amid the intense competition, they fully demonstrated the fine legal literacy and high-spirited demeanor of the company's employees, earning rounds of applause with their solid command of the law.
This participation was both a rule-of-law practice of learning through competition and a vivid epitome of the enterprise strengthening its rule-of-law building. Going forward, taking this contest as an opportunity, Lanfeng will continue to deepen legal education and publicity, integrate the study of the Civil Code and other laws and regulations into daily life, guide all employees to respect, learn, observe and apply the law, continuously consolidate the foundation for lawful operation and compliant management, safeguard the company's high-quality development with the rule of law, and contribute the strength of an enterprise to the rule-of-law building of Xinyi City.
